8 Ball Scotch doubles is a 4 person team 8ball game. All rules for regular 8 ball are followed. In this format, partners alternate shots.

For our scotch doubles league, your team combined skill level limit can not exceed ten. Each week you will play each of your opponents a singles match (as you do in regular league play) and then you will play a scotch doubles match. Each singles match is worth 3 points and the scotch doubles match is worth 4 points.

Currently our scotch doubles division plays approximately every Thursday. In addition to the normal awards, teams in this format are eligible to compete to represent Indianapolis in the various pre-registered national doubles tournaments.
